Mature Canopy Care Workshop for Treesilience Partners:
TreesCharlotte is teaming up with an ISA TRAQ Certified Arborist to work with community members in the Ramblewood and McCrorey Heights neighborhoods to identify private property mature trees that need care. This workshop is open to residents that applied to the Treesilience initiative.&nbsp;Any resident, that does not meet the income requirements below, can still receive a free consultation but will not qualify for free mature canopy care.&nbsp;As a reminder, attending this event or watching the recording are required for those residents seeking free Mature Canopy Care (CC).
The&nbsp;<a href="https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85282342642?pwd=WWxyNVBheEo5cnB0YjI4ZVp3dzZSQT09" target="_blank" data-loopstyle="linkonly" rel="noopener">Zoom workshop</a>&nbsp;will discuss the components of the Mature Canopy Care initiative by:

<li>Introducing the MCC team</li>
<li>Reviewing eligibility requirements</li>
<li>Examining the timeline&nbsp;</li>
<li>Scheduling the tree assessment with our team (dates &amp; times)</li>
<li>Reminding participants of TreesCharlotte's mission</li>
</ul>
The workshop will be recorded and posted on our YouTube Channel to increase engagement. Below I am including a reminder about the eligibility requirements for free MCC.

Eligibility requirements for free mature canopy care include:
<ul>
<li>
<ul>
<li>Qualifying for at least one&nbsp;<a href="https://www.usa.gov/benefits" target="_blank" rel="noopener">government assistance program</a></li>
<li>Having a tree on their property that is threatening their safety</li>
<li>Attending the Mature Canopy Care Workshop (required)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Attend one additional Tree Engagement event</li>
<li>Agree,&nbsp;before&nbsp;mature canopy care work begins, to replace any tree(s) removed from their property with a new tree.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
